Memory #2 (still spoilers!! Most of hers are gonna be . . .)
(Ep. 10, trivial positive; won in Game #35. Item: water ball gusher thing)
*It's evening, and Homura is sitting in someone else's apartment. The nameplate says "Tomoe Mami." She's having (delicious) tea and cake with the aforementioned Mami, and Madoka, while they discuss . . . what just happened.*
Homura: So, Kaname-san, you're fighting things like that all the time?
Madoka: Mmm, not really all the time . . . Mami-san is the veteran. I just made the contract with Kyubey last week.
Mami: But in today's fight, you were much better than before, Kaname-san!
Madoka: *laughs modestly*
Homura: Is it okay? Aren't you . . . afraid . . . ?
Madoka: It's never really okay, and of course I'm afraid . . . but defeating a witch helps a lot of people, so it's worth it, right?
Mami: *nods, smiling*
*And as Homura smiles admiringly . . .*
Mami: Kaname-san should work hard to become a pro before the Walpurgis Night arrives.
-kyaa kyaa Madoka ♥ +100
-fuck, spoiled for the ending +75
-canon jargon +50
-This one's a little mixed, a little shaded by the last memory she got back, lol. She knows what the Walpurgis is and how bad it is from that one; that sort of blunts the happiness and optimism of this moment.
-But it doesn't erase it entirely! She's all the more certain that this Kaname-san who died to protect her was a completely brave and incredible person, who fought through her fear. This will increase her budding determination to remember more about Kaname-san!
-This also gives her a bit of a better grasp of what was going on in her world. There are witches, and they attack people! But there are those--magical girls, as she recalls from the first memory--who are awesome and fight them. And who make contracts to do so.
