✓ No one believes in the future. In the wake of the horror of Madoka Death #3, Homura resolves to save Madoka herself, without relying on anyone else.

Trivial Neutral
✓ Magical girl training. In time rewind #1, Homura demonstrates her powers for Madoka and Mami. It's a mixed bag--Homura's a little happy at her ability to do something physical without fainting! However, she still tires easily, and Mami says she's still got a ways to go.

✓ Stealing from the mob. In time rewind #2, Homura starts looking for more precise weapons than bombs. Her solution: steal guns from the Yakuza.
✓ After the witch hunt. In the main timeline, Homura follows Madoka, Sayaka, and Mami around while they go on witch hunts. Mami offers to share a Grief Seed with Homura; Homura refuses.

✓ Oh and by the way. Homura comes to Madoka's window to deliver creepy late-night advice.
✓ I don't know, and I don't care. Oriko timeline; Homura tells off Mami when Mami tries to ask her about the magical girl who kills other magical girls.
Significant Negative
✓ Madoka Death #1. Mami and Madoka try to fight the mighty witch known as the Walpurgis Night. Mami falls; a terrified Homura urges Madoka to run away, but Madoka plunges back into the fray, and is killed herself.
✓ Madoka Death #2: The Terrible Truth. In time rewind #1, the Walpurgis comes again, and again, it all ends in disaster. Mami dies, presumably, and Madoka's power is exhausted. Before a horrified Homura's eyes, Madoka's Soul Gem becomes a Grief Seed, and she transforms into a witch.
✓ Things fall apart. In time rewind #2, Sayaka becomes a witch. Kyouko and Madoka try to reason with her, but to no avail. Homura takes matters into her own hands, destroying Witch-Sayaka with a bomb. As if that weren't enough, Mami snaps in the wake of the battle, killing Kyouko--only to be killed by Madoka before she can turn her gun on Homura. Homura and Madoka are, once again, the only magical girls left to face the Walpurgis.
✓ Madoka Death #3: FFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUU--! In time rewind #2, Madoka and Homura exhaust their powers in the battle against the Walpurgis, leaving both on the verge of becoming witches. Madoka, however, produces a last Grief Seed she'd been saving, using it to purify Homura's Soul Gem and begging Homura to save her from being tricked by Kyubey into becoming a magical girl . . . and to keep her from becoming a witch now. Homura shoots Madoka before she can change.
✓ Soloing the Walpurgis. Homura makes her first attempt to fight the Walpurgis Night on her own, and it doesn't go too well. Madoka, unable to sit back and watch, makes a contract with Kyubey--not hearing as Homura screams to her not to be taken in by his offer. Madoka annihilates the Walpurgis in a single blow, and Kyubey explains there's nothing left for her to do but become the most terrible witch of them all. Homura rewinds time . . . again.
✓ That's the answer. Homura shows up to save Madoka from witch-Sayaka, leaving Kyouko to end the battle in a suicide attack.
✓ Soloing the Walpurgis Plus Alpha. Homura goes all the fuck out, unleashing an army's worth of heavy firepower on the Walpurgis, to no avail. Despair starts to overcome her, her Soul Gem fading steadily to black . . . and then Madoka shows up!
✓ Madoka's Ascension. Homura awakens as the universe is reorganizing itself in the wake of Madoka's wish. She beholds the horror of the Ultimate Witch spawned by the wish. Madoka quickly takes care of it, but even that monster isn't as bad (in Homura's eyes) as Madoka's ultimate fate . . .
✓ We have met the enemy, and she is us. For once, Madoka doesn't die in the battle with the Walpurgis--instead, she's killed by Mikuni Oriko, a magical girl with prophetic powers who spearheaded a conspiracy to murder other magical girls. Homura resets the timeline . . . again.
Trivial Negative
✓ Behind in her studies. Having been absent for a long stretch due to illness, Homura can't keep up with her math class--which is made embarrassingly evident when she's called to the board to do a problem.
✓ (Starting Memory) Sitting out of gym class. Thanks to her condition, Homura can't even make it through warm-up exercises . . .
✓ Will I stay like this forever? Walking home from school in the evening, Homura questions her self-worth. And then, strange things begin to happen . . .
✓ Nobody's listening! In time rewind #2, Homura tries to warn her fellow magical girls--not just Mami and Madoka, but Madoka's friend Sayaka as well--about what she learned last time around. Sayaka not only doesn't believe it, she's downright hostile, suspecting Homura is trying to turn them against each other. Mami and Madoka are more sympathetic, but don't really seem to take the warning to heart either.
✓ Kyubey hunting. In the series' main timeline, Homura hunts Kyubey through the shadowy back halls of a shopping mall, trying to keep him from making contact with Madoka. Every time she seems to destroy him, however, a new one pops up, forcing her to give chase--until, at last, a Kyubey-body she only manages to wound makes its way to Madoka.
✓ Worst. Exposition. Ever. In the series' main timeline, Sayaka has succumbed to despair and become a witch (again). Homura pulls Kyouko (who's recovered Sayaka's human body) from the witch-world. The two encounter Madoka, and Homura explains the terrible truth about where witches come from.

✓ The warning. In the main timeline, Homura transfers in for the billionth time. Under the pretense of going to the nurse's office, she leaves class with Madoka. Trying hard to swallow her emotions, she delivers a cryptic warning to Madoka: to "stay herself" if she doesn't want to lose everything.
✓ Rooftop confrontation. In the main timeline, Homura asks Madoka if she now intends to become a magical girl. Madoka asks Homura what she wished for.

✓ And then Mami died (again). In the main timeline, Homura follows Mami and Madoka into the witch Charlotte's barrier. She tells Mami to leave this one to her, but Mami imprisons her magically and runs off with Madoka, only to buy it fighting Charlotte. Homura finishes Charlotte off.

✓ Maybe it's because I'm no longer human. Homura and Madoka discuss Sayaka and the magical girl condition on the school roof. Madoka demands to know how Homura can always be so cold when talking about it . . .
✓ I will end you!! Homura confronts an exhausted, near-witch Sayaka, at first offering to help her--but when Sayaka calls her on her lack of true sympathy, she reveals she's just doing it for Madoka's sake and threatens to kill Sayaka. But then Kyouko shows up!
✓ Close call. Homura shoots Kyubey just as Madoka had been about to make a wish. When Madoka is unhappy about this, Homura sort of breaks down. Madoka leaves; Homura then pulls it together and lets Kyubey know he won't have his way!
✓ Kyubey is a dick. Homura talks to Kyubey about Kyouko's attempt to save Sayaka. Kyubey's response: lol.
✓ Madoka's visit. Lead-in to the confession, in which Madoka arrives at Homura's apartment in episode 11. Madoka doubts Homura's ability to take the Walpurgis alone! Spun out as its own thing to avoid spoilers re: Kyouko and Sayaka.
SKILLS
Mundane
✓ Athletics: Several time repeats' worth of practice have allowed Homura to hone herself into peak athletic shape for a girl her age, to the point where she's shown breaking prefectural records in gym class.
✓ Academics: Similarly, Homura is skilled in advanced math (and possibly other subjects) thanks to having had a lot of time to study.
✓ Basic Marksmanship: A skill Homura begins to pick up when she starts stealing guns from mobsters. This skill covers proficiency with handguns, shotguns, etc.--"everyday" guns.
◊ Advanced Marksmanship: Homura also demonstrates that she knows her way around more exotic weapons. This skill, unlikely to be of much (or any) use in Aather, covers bazookas, rocket-propelled grenade launchers, mortars, the precision guiding of oil tanker trucks into giant witches, etc.
✓ Bomb-making and Use: Thanks to the magic of the Internet, Homura learns how to make her own pipe bombs. This skill also covers using explosives in combat without blowing herself up.
✓ Hand-to-Hand Combat: Homura can handle herself okay in a close-in fight too; she doesn't have many weapons for it, but she demonstrates that she knows how to knock people out, etc. (as in episode 6 when she takes down Sayaka).
(Extremely) Basic Cooking: Homura lives on her own, so it figures she'd know at least a little about feeding herself--salads, stir-fry, noodle dishes, etc. (basically acquired in Aather via practicing with Bones)
Special
✓ Magical Girl Transformation: Homura has made a contract with Completely Benevolent Cute Mascot Kyubey, allowing her to become a magical girl! The transformation grants her a neat costume, plus increased physical potential.
✓ZAA WARUDO Time Stop: One of Homura's trademark magical girl powers, this allows her to freeze time for everyone but herself and objects or people she's touching.
✓KIRAA KUIIN Time Rewind: Likely to stay perma-locked Unlocked but pre-emptively powercapped into uselessness, this power allows Homura to reverse the flow of time, negating all events that took place in the rewound period (but not removing her memories of them).
✓ Energy Shield: Homura's buckler, besides containing the mechanism that drives her time powers, can also project a larger shield of magical energy to block attacks.
✓ Energy Blasts: Homura can fire little bursts of concussive force, as shown during her Kyubey hunt.
✓ Buckler of Holding: Homura can store objects in a sort of dimensional pocket behind her buckler; this is where she puts her guns and bombs.
✓ Self-healing: Magical girls can use their magic to repair their zombiebodies! Homura also uses this at one point to fix her eyes.
